Dave Whitman has been creating wood carvings at his farm in Annapolis County, Nova Scotia.

Working mainly in white pine, Dave creates a variety of figures from eagles and bears to Father Christmas' and fishermen.

Dave's favourite carvings are those of real people that he works to recreate through his craft.
